ln 2016, South American filmmaker Walter Solon travels to Los Angeles to write a screenplay based on the life and work of his aunt Lina, who migrated to LA after surviving the Holocaust and lived in exile with Walter’s grandmother in South America. The family myth holds that Lina had become a writer for the CIA, which is why she had cut all ties with her South American family. As gaps in information become ever larger, the possibility of telling Lina’s story is seriously put into question.
