At the invitation of the conceptual film archive The One Minutes, which collects and catalogues one-minute videos from around the world and publishes them in curated compilations, visual artist Jesse Darling has put together a film. A call for video submissions circulated under the title Everything happened so much: archive as poem in an age of perpetual witnessing. The resulting work throws us into a chaotic, violent, vibrant, and deeply intimate world in a state of political turmoil and a global pandemic.
